Hi guys, my auto 2011 VE ssv has come off the dyno with the following numbers, 306rwkw/410rwhp at 617nm.
Does not have high stall as only a mild cam, so am I right to estimate my fwkw at 390 - 395 fwkw.
Thanks for your time

2007 ssv manual
Would probably be around that but you do realise power figures vary from dyno to dyno, and also weather temperatures etc come in to play so your car may run 306rwkw on that day then on a hotter day maybe 295 and on a different dyno 280rwkw etc etc

Rule of thumb for a auto is "around" 15-20% drivetrain loss

But, that is still only a rough guide

In the end a run down the strip to see your MPH and ET is the only real way to gauge "real power" guesstamations

I've seen plenty of high power figure on the "dyno" cars that their ET and MPH would suggest that they are making alot less power than claimed

I would be happy with whatever it makes as long as your tune is good, in the end the dyno is a tuning tool that uses mathamagics to give a torque/hp number

Thanks for the reply, I realise there are many variables and opinions on the amount of power loss, dyno types, tuners and conditions that will come into play, so just wanted to have a conservative number if all was good on the day.
Cheers

WM Caprice with LS3
My WM with an LS3 in it recorded 265 rwkw which came out to around 340 fwkw.
It's the torque that matters. Mine went just over 600nm.
