Eurovox Maestro 10 CD Stacker

Hey guys

This one's for my mother. Shes got a Eurovox 10 CD Stacker from a VX Calais, which seems like its stuffed. Question being, if i could get myself another stacker not necesairly a eurovox, would it still work with the exisiting pin or do i need to wire it in??

@tas: I read somewhere that a denon unit was directly compatible. .all I want is to be able to play mp3 cds through my standard stereo. And I want to avoid installing an aux jack and rca's because when I start the wk grange interior conversion the headunit mods will have been a waste. Id consider it on the new unit assuming that the factory premium blaupunkt unit isnt at least mp3 compatible. Any suggestions?

Denon mp3 units won't be compatible and correct blaupunkt are not mp3 either.
I think your best bet is going to be a high quality FM modulator. The type that you actually wire into the car and plug the antenna into. Not perfect but far superior to your cigarette lighter FM modulator.

Shiiiit... maybe I miss read it then..? Ah well thanks heaps for clearing that up for me saves me hunting for and then buying this mythical compatible stacker.
Any modulaters you'd recommend? Is this the same as a jl audio clean sweep?

No, nothing like the clean sweep. Pop into your autobarn... from memory, retail price is about 70

Was that a citation based on another topic referencing a conversation weve had?
Correct me if im wrong (no doubt in my mind you will) but isnt a clean sweep used inline with the oem headunit and stacker but adds the ability to add amps, play a mp3 device directly through it and a few other things essentially defeating your fully autobarns mates $70 fm modulator?
