the switch located on the sun glasses cover assembly is a "surveillance Mode" switch. It is used when the police are either using a radar gun on the side of the highway with the engine running and they dont want anyone to know they are there. Or, when they are about to embark on an operation, they use that switch, because it turns off the bootlight when opened, most of the interior lights including the dash (apart from the speedo and fuel guage) and when you lock the car the horns dont sound.

I have two of these cars and they are great to drive......... cheers

just mind the spilled coffee on the console.

HAHA This is so true LMFAO, got a omega 2010 ex cop, mirage glow colour. Drives perfect, Gearbox is fine. Seems like it was treated well, although yes, it did have coffee spill in the center console hahaha
