Hi all I am back after many years. Use to have a VN S Pack and now have a SV6 Sportswagon
I bought an Ex Telstra Car and the lights are constantly on
After reading many posts I flat out want to ask if anyone here or you know can deactivate this feature.
I am in Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

I am not paying Holden $122 for this lol

Cheers

It's a feature controlled by the BCM. Anyone with a Tech 2 should be able to disable it.

Did you buy it from a Holden dealership?

Why wouldn't you want the headlights on. More likely to be seen this way. This is the reason DRL are becoming standard fare in most cars these days

Telstra cars all have this feature.

Going back to 1995 I was working for Telstra, had a new VS wagon the DRL feature was on that wagon. If the headlight switch was off, the headlights were on (if I remember correctly no high beam in this position), if the switch was on parking lights it was parking lights (no headlights), if on headlights position, it was normal with high beam as normal etc.

Telstra cars all have this feature.

I wasn't aware from when i picked it up. only after research i got the reason why.

I want to turn this feature off as it is annoying.

But its all good. thought i ask if anyone could help.

Did you buy it from a Holden dealership?

I bought it from the auctions. Asked holden for a price at 3 different dealerships to turn it off. i got $122, 156 and 188.

Bit steep hey
