Very happy with our Calais V6. First time on a long run with the new car. Adelaide Hills to Mildura 7.3 l/100km (91 ULP). Mildura to Adelaide Hills 7.5 (94 e10). Wasn't really trying an economy run and with three adults and our gear for the week, I am fairly happy.
One nice flat section from the Victorian border to Loxton I averaged 6.9 for 100km. Roughly 2 litres/100k better than I ever saw in our previous ride (EL falcon 4.0)

Best I can do on the Bruce Hwy is 7.9 but that's stopping for roadworks every 10kms.

Best I have had so far is 8.9l per 100km which is still pretty good considering its a V8.

My diesel Xtrail was 7.8.

Now have 15000k on the clock and just did a 900km round trip down the SE of the state. tank full of 98 and averaged 7.2 sitting on 110 most of the way. Very happy
