Mine is not hard up against the block, and has about 1/2 cm clearance. Do the rubber components of your exhaust hanger's consist of only black figure eight hangers or do you also have the other type that side onto hanger bars with budged ends and round retaining clips. If you have the second ones I described then check to see if all the round clips are in place as these clips stop the sideways travel of the exhaust system to prevent it from knocking against the body and tail shaft.

nah i got the first type. its got me stumped so im gonna take it into my mates dads exhaust place and get em to have a look at it, where i know they wont rip me off. thanks for all the help nos and everyone else.
