Hi all, i just brought a set of pacies and a mantra cat back courtesy of not_an _abba_fan and so far i have the pacies on. iv run into a small issue howeva... apon cutting and welding flanges on the cats, then putting them back on, the one on the drivers side is sitting against the underside of the car. and it vibrates like hell at 600-800 and 1500-2100 rpm!
iv had a couple of ideas on how to fix, but mostly wondering bout cost and legalitly.
1. iv tried spinning the cat, wont work, wrong shape.
2. getting aftermarket flatter ones?
3. removing them both, extending the y peice, and placing a single bigger one straight after y peice?
anyone tried either 2 or 3 before?
any ideas welcome!!!
