I'm going to buy a catback exhaust for my car, i really dont know much about exhaust systems but i think im getting there, please dont hate me if i get it wrong. Anyway does it go from your extractors (im keeping stock for now) then those go down and into a catalytic converter which i think will stay stock. Then the rest will be new parts i'll buy, then go from the catalytic converter to a 2.5" pipe into a muffler, then a 2.5" pipe out and into to a resinator and then out to your tip (not sure what ill put on tip, probably cannon....haha not).
Okay so if i got this right, i wanna know if all this stuffs okay to DIY at home, and please don't laugh but are those ebay catback exhausts just plain peices of **** or should i go for something a bit better like redback?

Also was told by members not to get resinator, i called some exhausts shops and they said without it i may (and on red p's will definall) receive a defect notice, so i came to the conclusion its well worth not getting it to start with.
Cheers guys.:yeah::driving:
