I'm assuming you have a V6...in which case I will tell you that a 3" exhaust is going to be a pain in the ass in many more ways than one.


  1. Not enough back pressure from the exhaust, therefore you will lose power
  2. Will be ridiculously loud and you will have the EPA and canaries onto you...

A 2.5" system would be your best bet...

PM a guy on here called NAAF (Not_An_Abba_Fan), he is an exhaust guru and has helped quite a few people on here including my own cars.

He will let you know how much and which system is the better one for what you are after. He's been in the business for many years and now has his own business and can get them cheaper thru no overheads etc.

from what ive read on here man, back pressure is a bad thing to have, it was stated on another exhuast thread,

id still go with a 2.5 system tho mate

Do you mean to much and you will loose power and not enough you will loose torque by chance? :whistling

Back pressure is all bad. Exhaust gas velocity is what you mean.
