v8 sounding exhaust?

can u buy a set up that makes your v6 sound like a v8?

Ecotec's were built with a smooth idle, thats why past 3000 revs there is more of a groan then the v8's put put sound. Unfortunately the only thing to really make your ecotec sound close to a v8 would be to chuck on a cannon or a lumpy cam.

A lumpy cam is an oversized camshaft, the bigger you go, the rougher the ride is.

Thats a great package, whats the price range for that kinda setup?

the only way to truely make a v6 sound like a v8 is to actually get a v8! i know its dumb, but its true... i guess

A package like that costs about a grand. Then if you can't fit it yourself your looking at another $500 +.

Well, l'd rather get a pro to do it as they have to dial in the cam which l have no idea how to do so...

my engine drone is so bad i am considering paying $100 to get an extra resonator put in to make car more enjoyable over long trips...
I have a cheap and nasty cat back 2 & 1/2' exhaust - no extractors.
