Exhaust upgrade?

What would a standard ss exhaust system sound like on my sv6?

The V8 system on the V6 makes it a bit deeper and louder, not much though. You will hear it more under acceleration, it may drone a bit as well. It's not as bad as Smashfist says though lol.

If you get non afm mufflers, the afm mufflers sound like NAAF said bit deeper little bit more sound.

The non afm mufflers off manuals sound droney terrible, took of after a 5min drive

Ive done it, and its exactly what Not_An_Abba_Fan said. (Had to make sure its the SS exhaust with the twin outlet not the Y piece).

Your better off just getting decent mufflers put on.

best sounding stock muffler is hsv one

i had ss mufflers with twin out and Y pipe as well

twin out droned like hell

y pipe hardly noticeable to stock sv6...not worth upgrading

hsv muffler was deeper sounding and no drone

forget about power increase with any of these non significant mods

Anyone know of problems caused by putting the AFM SS mufflers on a SV6 (e.g. loss of power/performance, reverberation, etc.)? Are the muffler internals much different?
