I was just thinking the same thing. Simmons wheels are ****ing awesome.

They are ****? Compared to what?

Each to their own. I'm not expecting anyone to necessarily agree with me, but we are talking about Fads here and so many cars had Simmons wheels about five or so years ago where I lived and I got sick of seeing them. Not all their wheels are bad, but some are real bogan magnets.

Sorry I should be more specific. I'm talking about the old bogan ones like these:

simmons001xq0.jpg

They look ok in the 80's, on touring cars, but these days they look crap. I also think dragways look crap but I'm sure someone will also dispute that.

haha my stato had a set just like that when i got it:whistling but with car fads...hmmm unit stickers:bang: people promote that **** like they work for em.

Tinted taillights are one that came to mind last night.
For a while every second thread on here was about niteshades and how to tint taillights, and you would see people driving around looking like they had just attacked their lights with a can on black spray paint

Nearly ran up the arse of one of these trendy P-platers with tinted lights this morning coz I couldn't see his blinker and brake lights in the rain (VN...surprise, surprise). No wonder they get defected (harassed lol).
As usual, beanie wearing, drivers seat laid waaaay back.
Dead set when I see one of these clowns coming I give them a wide berth.
How can they drive laying down like that?

And utes with wings on the back:thumbsup:

simmons wheels today, may be questionable..but in the 80's only very cashed up people could afford them. mostly euro cars had em, and some aussie cars had em...but it was rare.
