fitting a Crate LY7 engine due original one getting old advice

i have a 07 SV7 did the chains about a year ago. but the car is in great shape so will be keeping it and will be dropping a new LY7 crate engine in soon. even though the current engine has done 150,000 runs fine but its still got its tiny rattles. getting the engine from holmart in Melbourne. and have a good mechanic who has done the VE engines. would it be just a swap out and reprogram the ECU to the new engine. and the usual plugs oil and stuff. the mech is good. but know some dont always tell u everything. so has anyone changed there engines for new ones and had problems later.

Same for same engine swap wont require any reprogram of the ECU to get it running again. It's a straightforward swap over that shouldnt take longer than 10hrs of labour charge.
