clean the engine then look for the leak after a drive. then you know what to fix.
timing cover would no be to mauch hassel unlike the v6 engines.

If the timing covers have to come off then it could get a little expensive. If thats the case have a look at how much extra it will be to whack in a bigger cam while your there:)
