hey m8 i would be interested in a couple, but i dont understand the stuff bout the 28 pin socket being put in the memcal urself, where would i have to go to get these, like is this just dick smith kind of stuff or proper car bits?
either way if i get em, ones for dads work ute and hes good with all the chips and circuits, (having worked with them for all of his job life), so cheers.

See that socket? see how it's got circular machined pin holes? if you can, get one of those, if not any normal $1 28 pin socket from the electronics store will do

simc, done a guesswork one, but awaiting how many PSI you run, doubt you can get enough fuel into it with the stock fuel system at more then 3 or 4 psi?

defa, both yours are done, V6 and your mates V8 < he wont know what hit him, will need 95 octane though

Thanks mate i'll give it a shot in about half an hour or so.

I ended up working out taht the vr binaries are 256k? so i emulate a 256 k chip and it seems to work fine.

Now I just need to do a crash course in fuel injection workings and engine design
