Hi All
Tackling replacing of the front struts on my VE Wagon this weekend.
Just befote I jacked up the car I noticed what I think is a protruding bush from the Drivers side control arm control arm
Can anyone confirm from the photos if this is stuffed?

That is just the dust cap to cover the ball joint so nothing to worry about there. The other end holds a bush which can wear out

As long as there's no play in it and the grease inside isn't leaking out, it's all g. The shaft inside has a taper on it which the hub/knuckle portion will clamp down onto, so it's really obvious when it's loose (you'll also hear/feel it in the car).

Cheers Gave it a firm pull, no issues either side. Only got all the struts taken off today. Will be reinstalling tomorrow. My mate os bringing over 4 new stretch bolts & nuts as I didn't know they were one use only.
