has anybody scraped the bottom of there spoiler yet.
it seems to be very easy to do even when you are going slow.it seems to happen when you are turning the wheels and going in a drive way.
thanks

Yep and if you hit it hard enough you will pop the clips out on either side of the front bar

I've scraped it going across gutters slow a couple of times and popped the clips. Although there doesn't seem to be a problem at speed. I can hit speed bumps quite hard without a problem.

Has anyone noticed how it's much smoother going over speed bumps at speed than slow? I guess it's tuned for high speed bumps.

I've been looking & finally got an SV6 from the auctions ... but every SV6 (about 10) I looked at had scrapes on the front.

Hey Guys.

Arm, I reckon the only way you'd find a SV6 without the spoiler scraped was if you went to the dealer and looked at a brand newy! ;) I scraped mine within the first week of getting it, going into an "uphill" driveway - and I was going real slow too!

Also I've gotta be real careful when nose-in parking to a kerb. They don't have to be real high to clout - I've nudged the kerb a couple of times, fortunately never too hard.

Cheerz!

On a side note.. how much do the sv6's and sv8's go for roughly? At auction and at the car yards?

SV6 used is around the $29000 to $30000 mark. And an SV8 asks roughly 1 or 2 grand more used.

There's just more supply of SV6, and dealers will discount SV6 more readily.

I'm talking about the VZ SV8 too. You also will find that the 2004 SV8 will be cheaper than a 2005 SV8, as the 2005 has been upgraded to be identical to the SV6, but with the 5.7.
