too many people don't seem to know about the design of fuel tanks and that you cannot physically use every single drop of fuel in them!!!! the reason most of us only appear to be able to use 50-55L is that the base of the tank is very flat, so the fuel is spread out over a large area, which the pickup can't readily get to. the tank does hold 75L (except in the utes) and some people (Phreddy is an example) have managed to use 71-72L, which is astonishing! You shouldn't try to use ALL of the fuel in the tank anyway because all the crud from the bottom will get sucked up and clog the fuel filters. If you're driving in relatively flat areas then you can generally afford to let it go further (the most ive ever used is 66L) but in hilly areas its a bit risky cos the fuel might all be out of reach of the pickup. MY 'low fuel' warning comes on at 50L, i just have to ignore it for a while...
