Hey guys, vs 5.0 stato has fuel dribbling out of the back of the end of the injector rail on the passenger side.. It's a fair leak and runs down onto the exhaust... Thought it was the last injector so replaced top and bottom O'ring - still leaks.

Is there an O'ring that goes into the injector rail tube at the back? Super hard to source... Thx in advance.

Is this a factory rail or aftermarket?

@someguy360 had this or a similar problem. His engine caught on fire.

That's for the VS V6 but might have what I need? Or you reckon just get a new rail or a wreckers

It's been a long time since I looked at one but fairly certain there is an O ring in there.

There is o rings on all fittings that go in and out of the rail.

It’s likely leaking from the fitting out the back.

Did you lube the o rings when you put them in, if they went in dry (heh) they’ll leak.

Speaking from someone who’s had a fire in that back corner from the fuel rail, be careful!

Or try a thicker o-ring maybe. Like @07GTS did on his injectors? Maybe worth a shot? Or is the o-ring thin and fit a groove?
