This morning my fuel supply hose was dripping fuel where the hose joins the fuel rail, so I rang holden to price a new hose and because the hose is crimped onto the fuel rail you have to buy the whole thing (hose and fuel rail) $189, another holden rip off, they could have put a connector similar to the one on the other end of the hose which connects to the the pipe coming from the fuel tank. But as usual you have buy much more than you need.
Anyway, I gave the crimped clamps a slight turn on the fuel rail and it stopped the leak but probably only temporarily. My question is, does anybody know if a couple of good quality hose clamps would be sufficient to handle the high pressure? Has anyone tried it?

Mine was cut off. And we got 2 butter fly clamps, And so far they are fine. But it's more short term, I don't think I'll trust them for to many years.

It's a pain this line, It goes from the rail to the fuel filter it's a big one.

Did you do it yourself ?. Hard job ?.

you gotta empty your fuel tank so it depends, your fuel lines are somewhat a unbolt and bolton with a few clips but if you f**k it up it could be very expensive to fix...
