Pontiac G8 was a rebadged Commy, between 2007 - 2009.

Same stud pattern, so should go straight on. :)

Yea sorry should have been more clear the wheels were on a vt and tried them on a ve omega and they wouldn't fit. What I mean is if they have been modified to fit earlier model Holden's does that mean they won't fit the ve?

exactally. if your lucky look on gumtree or places like that. someone may have bought the same wheels thinking it would fit on their vz and find it doesn't fit. would be a good way to get the right wheels for your car without spending any money. this is very rare but it does happen

The hole that slides over the hub has been machined to fit earlier models.

Thus, you'll need a set of hub rings to fill the gap.

In short, with the right adaptor, they will still fit.

Edit:

Hub Centric Rings are designed to fill in the gap between the hub of the car and the center bore of the wheel. Most wheel manufacturers design their wheels with a centerbore large enough to fit on most cars. Therefore, since wheel manufactures make their center bore large enough to fit most cars, most wheel fitments have a gap between the hub and the centerbore. This gap usually doesn't allow for the wheel to fit hubcentric but rather lugcentric which causes vibration. Therefore, to fill the gap and ensure the fitment is hubcentric, hub rings are used.

The 2011 VE Sportwagon & all Redlines came out with G8 rims so yes they fit.
Why don't you buy a new set, they are everywhere on the net.
