Do you need/want the extra power/torque? You're looking at $10-15k for a decent setup. Are they worth it? Depends what you want one for I guess.

That's the thing with strokers, blowers and turbos. They all make big power but deliver it very differently. If you were seriously considering going for a big power upgrade my best advice is to try and go for a drive in as many different setups as possible and see how they perform. Some you may like and others you may not. Most respected performance shops will be able to tee up a few different rides for you to sample. Just food for thought.

well motorvation today got the creative juices flowing ;) saw some awesome LS1's to give me some ideas.

mods to this are going to slow down considerably, will see some monaro tailights and dark tint to toughen the exterior, and will be going a brake upgrade (twin piston calipers for the front, slotted rotors, etc.) and beefing up the suspension with new shocks/swaybar/camber kits etc. then the mods will stop.

sometime this year i will be required to move back to melbourne to do a course, and when this happens, vics gay no V8s for p platers rule means this car will remain in WA. once my course finishes ill be back so to speak, and this car will go from mild to wild. im looking forward to a pretty intense build.
