93 vr wagon
Hey every one, you's have all been so helpful so far with my vs and I'm now "down grading" to a vr wagon as I need a wagon, what would be the easiest way to increase horse power? Extractors? Sports exhaust? And is it true that in the 3800 motors if you take out the plastic behind the intake manifold it will increase power??

Want better throttle response, get some diff gears and leave the Bellmouth. You wont really even notice the throttle response. Depending on how much you want to spend, get some second hand extractors, a 2.5" exhaust, K&N High flow panel filter, give it an overall service, bigger throttle body, double row timing chain with heavy duty valve springs. Whack a custom tune in it from a forum member and leave it at that.

As already pointed out, removing the bellmouth does not do all that much, so would be pointless to remove.

Would be better off getting a good set of extractors for starters.
