Globes Sleeves

hey every one ive been readin about ppl changin tha color of ther dash lights and very interested in doing this ma self i went into autobarn and saw a product called globe sleeves that u put onto tha original globes in tha dash and it changes tha color jus wana no if any 1 has experience wit these as it wood make tha job alot easier thanx...

I tried the blue ones - they were crap.

I wanted to change from green to blue, fitted the sleeves and still had bloody green light........................

Incandesant (is that how ya spell it) bulbs give of a yellowish light, stick a blue filter on it and ya gonna get green........... Brilliant !

Used blue LEDs instead.

For best effect, you can either go led conversion - I think someone has done up a how to for the VT's - or go on ebay or find a member on here that sells the overlays.

Most can do a completely custom job to your liking.

yeh dont bother with the sleeves as they are a waste of money as i have found out also myself
