GM knock detection reliability

You mentioned you keep the wideband connected all the time. What sort of life span you are getting out of the sensor? Does your controller turns on the sensors heater as soon as the engine is on ? Do you use one for each bank?

i just have one of the dynojet wideband setups wired into bank 2 also have a bung in bank 1 if i need to swap it over, heater works heats up in about 20 sec, still on the first sensor (bosch) so far havnt had to do any calibrations yet, i use hpt
