got a whine sound from LY7 engine . even without serpentine belt, can anyone help

have a 07 SV6 when i rev my engine i have a whine sound from the front of engine. thought all the usual pulleys AC, power steering pump and water pump. but removed the serpentine belt, and started it to isolate the pulleys and pumps.. still got the whine sound u cant hear it at idle. but its at its worst when the engine is cold and when u rev it u can easly hear it. get a little quieter after maybe 15 mins driving but not by much.

can anyone help or had this problem and found a fix

Get a mechanic to check the harmonic balancer.

timing chains are stuffed. its what is causing the whine from engine.
