the last sentence is very true, you can't have police on every wall/train/fence or bin at all times...thing is most of these attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning or very late at night and pretty much have the space they want to paint all sussed out and what they are going to do...doesn't take long (im not talking about ****ty lil tags either).
I see it as art, alot of people might not agree...but i don't agree that taking pictures of naked kids is art either...or any form of photography....i just don't see any art in setting up lighting and clicking a button. each to their own i spose.
graffiti is just one of those things that will never stop...unless they take every application off the markey that can disface a wall train etc. it will continue...just like speeding, they will have to do something huge and drastic to stop it.
