Um...Grand Theft AUTO! It even mentions auto in the name.
No it's not all about shooting stuff, more than 90% of the missions in any grand theft auto game require you to take a vehicle to complete a mission in some way. It's a bit of a let down in that aspect, everything else about the game has been fantastic so far (apart from that).

I agree, I was disappointed about the driving the tyres are too grippy It feels like an arcade game but I will get used to it,

Hadnt even bothered looking at this game because i thought it was only coming out on the new XBOX....realised last night that it's on the 360...so got excited. Then got even more excited that i wouldnt have to wait long for the release.

Yeh the vehicle handling is a little messy, but I guess they can fix that if necessary with a patch.
It's not perfect, but it's not a major problem either.

I can't wait for October 1st when they launch GTA Online.
Why didn't they just launch it straight up from launch?

Are the handling issues just the slower cars or all cars. GTA has NEVER been a car sim, just the faster cars tend to slop less and be firmer on slides. I will wait for a PC version. The one thing about GTA so far is not having a personal keeper car that you can mod. That would be awesome.

I agree with you on the chopper handling, although with planes I've experienced turbulence every now and then in the air and I thought it was cool
