Good evening all just wondering if anyone has fitted a haltech 750 elite. Do they work well with the ly7 format. Do they control all aspects of fueling. Fuel pumps are they able to control voltage and flow? And how does it interact with the other systems of the car? Any experience and or advice would be greatly appreciated. I spoke to haltech and they are suggesting a haltech 2500 elite I'm not sure if they are just trying to up sell me. I think a 2500 elite would be overkill my tuner recommended a 750 not sure who too believe. Please help guys.

Can’t answer your question about the Haltech but would have thought that the standard ecu would be able to be tuned to suit? It’s not exactly an extreme combo a supercharged sv6

I have had in tuned it made 325kw the map sensor cuts off at around 4500 that with 10psi boost and the fuel pump control is limited by the stock ecu being that it is a series 1.

was the map sensor changed to suit a boosted application ? cant just use the stock map, those stock ecu should be able to see 22 psi before they max out with a 2.5 bar map sensor, also fuel pumps just run and feed the engine they shouldnt need much control

Not on the series 1 ly7 engine and the map sensor is fixed inside the pipe housing.

That's what set it up for to start with thinking just run maffless like the series 2 and the v8s but no luck won't run without it unfortunately
