Harrop stage 1 vs GM motorsport

Does anyone have Harrop stage 1 fitted to their VF SS S2? If so what's the power figure at the wheel? (For 350KW flywheel).

Also pro's and con's of Harrop stage 1 vs GM motorsport intake and tune?

I am going stage 1 Harrop but I am adding headers on my VF2 Redline will let you know the power increase once it is done. Should be next week just waiting on the headers. Total price is 3k. Told will be between 60 to 70kw improvement we will see

Sounds good. I've booked in to do the GM motorsport intake and tune package later this month. But having second thoughts now.

Had work done on my ve from there they were okay at best but didn't let me have much input with the tune and it seemed generic looking for most power because it ran rich after a couple months..also heard they lock their tunes so im taking my vf2 to vcm or c&a auto fashion in Blackburn

Guess c&a auto fashion is better than GM motorsport.

All good mate, c&a seem to be good and autotechnique (vcm) would be the same! Let me know how you go with tune etc cos i wont be going for a couple months or at least till i hit 2-3 thousand kms!

I just sent an enquiry form to C&a auto fashion to get stage 2. I'll keep you posted of what they say.

Hey vfssr, got my Ve done at c&a, done a very good job. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
Cai/full exhaust/tune.

A quick search here will reveal both are crap! Seriously, that's not my opinion it is the consensus. Of course don't listen to those keyboard warrior wankers on the forums!
But it is worth noting VCM Suite is the company that specialised in developing late model Commodore tuning software, HP Tuners, so I think it is a fairly safe bet its performance tuning service at Ferntree Gully is about as high tech and properly executed tune as you can get.
Also, preventing competitors from stealing your good (or bad) work by putting a lock on the tune is good professional practice.
