Has any body tried a Hiclone

Hey just a question has any body tried a hiclone in there engine to increse power and economy, I have seen them on tv etc and was wondering if any body has one and what do they think. They say it gives you between 10 to 20% reduction in fuel usage. any thoughts welcomed

what is it and how does it reduce your fuel usage?

yeah they say that it improves scavenging and therefore less fuel is needed. this is because the air is moving in a spiral fashion. doubt it would improve fuel consumption by heaps but in theory it should.

I don't know whether they will improve fuel economy or not but you also have to keep in mind how long it will take you before you will break even or get your money back, little own before you start saving money. Do the calc's before you buy one of these! Cheers

Make your own if your that keen on one. wouldn't be hard.

I believe they'd be more of a restriction then anything.

there is a guy on the internet i will try to get the site for you as i didnt bookmark it as i read it from start to finish. he says all fuel saving devices are not worth the out lay it costs for the slight reduction in fuel you will get. go with a high flow filter and you will be better off.
