Has anyone changed their diff gears?

nah havent had it down the 1/4 yet but very soon..at 100km its at about 2100 its not to bad

Has anyone who has changed diff gears in their automatic had to also change the shift points in the transmission? Someone mentioned to me that fitting the diff gears to an auto also means tranny shift points need to be changed as well. Is this true? comments? I have an SV6 auto if that makes any diff (no pun intended) : ))

mines a auto and no difference in shift patterns even with 3,7's mate

Is this a V8 or V6, I gather its a V6 with a 3.08, there isnt many choices for gears with a 7.5" V6 Diff, I got a VX Series 2 SS LSD and throught it in my VZ V6 Ute, you can easily change the gears in a 8" V8 diff as there less than $200 for a set on ebay and thyou can use any ratio, 7.5" come in 3.08 or 2.87 only
