Hi there

I'm building my ls1 and I'm stuck on a good head setup! So far

Lunati 237/243 .595([email protected]) lift cam
Lunati spring kit to suit cam
7.400 .80 comp push rods
1.72:1 comp ultra gold rockers
New ls7 lifters GM
Hi volume oil pump
Tuned 4into1's
Rebuilt 4l60e with shift kit
3800 stall
3.9 gears
Ls6 intake and ported throttle body
Vcm alloy OTR

Going to run a twin 3 through 2 100cpi cats!
Was looking at porting the 241s but unsure if the end result will still restrict the engine? Also contemplating ditching to ls6 manifold for a fast issue and t/b!! Any gurus on here throw any recommendations out this way? I've been looking into a set of ported 243's but for the price I can get a set if RHS heads from the USA!

Have to sort it out this week as powercruise is closing in and don't want to miss out

Looking to make the 300+rwkw mark or a low 11sec pass in my y series senator

Any info appreciated

The ported 241"s will be fine...the cathedral port heads will give you excellent air speed if ported correctly. Thats not to say that there is nothing better out there,but for your combo they will work well
