Hey peeps I took my ve series II to jb hi fi and the guy said its not possible to take the head unit out, is it true?

Their is a way of changing it but its expensive as what I've been told, a friend in G.C got quoted $800-$900 for just the HU and installation

That's really the only way to do it in a VE. retail is $2799 for head unit & HVAC plus installation.

No point changing ve series ii IMO, just get high level input amp or a really good loc, or RCA mod on back of hu.
