Two nights putting the car away in the garage I notice the passenger side headlight was quite dimmed, the R side as bright as usual...tonite I noticed both are the same, very dim - stuffed, basically no light at all

The high beam though is as normal, at first I thought the passenger side globe had its day , but now Im thinking battery, its an 09 SV6 with the original battery , the battery icon comes on when it goes thru system check on ignition, but then the icon goes off after the check complete.

It starts fine,
Battery or globes?

No....I leave the light switch on auto.
The headlights are at about 10%....foggys are sweet and high beam looks normal too

did you try like.. getting out of your car to see? -_- if the car starts fine why would it be the battery.

Doesnt mean they're not lighting up. Try turning them on manually and see.

or just replace the head lights. 40 bucks and 20 min later and see if it works.
