Heat issues

Today i was driving my Sv6 and when i put on the AC the heat went up to just below the red zone. I was told to refil the water levels on the main cap on the engine itslef. I put in a 1.5 litres before it was full!! surely this is much more than normal? And i dont have water leaking as there is never water laying under my car in my garage.

Depends when the lkast time u checked it was, maintanence is an ongoing thing with anything with a motor, some things without aswell, keep on top of it and it wont be 1.5L remeber that water can evaporate due to heat. Your aircon drips waters..., check your coolant cap for wear and tear.. this is occuring a lot lately...
