Hi I have literally just bought this vt ss, got home to a puddle of what looks like water, thought it was fuel but it doesn’t have a smell to it, is it the heater tap? If so is it easy to replace?

It’s a 5litre 1997 mode

Heater taps are a common replacement on this model . There are a few threads on here about replacing them . It is a cheap and easy fix

If the heater tap is bad you will generally see it clearly looking at the tap, there will be evidence of coolant leak and maybe some white crust/crystals around the leak. Are you referring to a puddle of clear liquid on the driveway? Could just be your air-con drain, my VT dumps tons of water from the air-con.
