Hi guys,

Just sold my vt ls1 and bought a VZ SS that has a miss on one cylinder, it's an l76 6L.

I have tracked it back to cylinder number 6 and have already eliminated the coil, plug and lead.

Are there any common faults with this model, thinking possibly one of the odd style lifters or issue with the injector? It is coming up with a check engine fault but haven't had it on computer yet but found with my LS1 that it doesn't always give you the exact cause of the problem.

Thanks for any advice.

Eliminated those three items by changing plug and swapping lead and coil from a good cylinder.

Ended up finding the problem, was expecting a collapsed AFM lifter but ended up being a loose rocker pivot bolt, rocker and pushrod weren't even touching!

Only problem I have now is a very slight stammer / miss at idle. Not sure if this goes hand in hand with it being hard to start and cranking a few times before it fires.
