that many mods will cost a bomb too - look at a used car that's modded, as mods = almost no increase in sale price.

i have been looking at some that have been modded already and i could pick one up at a decent price but i dont mind spending the money because me and my dad can do most of the labour work :) i just dont want to buy stuff that will be useless

Mace CAI is better value than the overpriced growler. I'd get the manual, though the calais is much nicer inside.

I would skip the ultralow springs though, unless you like scraping over everything, crap ride/handling, and getting hassled by cops. Really don't get the obsession with impractically low, maybe I'm just an old fart!

VZ Sv6 Commodore
I Have a SV6, while I love the look of it the inside in My opinion is adequate but boring, but I find that with the full VZ range including the Calais. The Vx had more style with the wood grain. The Calais and the SSZ are the pick of the range Both with leather but Your Probably not after a V8 so maybe the Calais and do a manual conversion. The SV6 manual has been a good reliable fun car. Good luck.
