for about $10 its worth just replacing it if it hasnt been done in a while, wont break the bank, and its another thing removed from ur possible cause of the problem

When you take it out, tip it out from the inlet end into a white container, if the fuel is brown and has bits of crap in it then you will know it was blocked or at least may have been causing some problems.

blow the filter onto a cloth, blow it out opposite way to which it flows

CAS = Crank angle sensor

I thought it should give an error though? You running a new battery or an old one?

im only getting code 12

if you get 12 more than three times in a row then you have no errors according to the computer.

double check everything's connected

how cold is it where you live? It sounds like you have some sort of spark issue. Do you own a gregories? like a work shop manual?

not very cold im in sydney. not cold enough to cause troubles. im going to check them today as well as the fuel filter it has to bo one or the other ive checked every thing else..
and yeah im only getting 12 once after another.
