VE SSV 60th Anniversary
Hi, so I was replacing the (cosmetic) windscreen seals today as they were close to disintegrating and noticed what look like a plastic bag stuck in the front left quarter panel where the water drains from the windscreen. This is what I pulled out !

Can someone please tell me what its for?? It was blocking the water draining properly from the sills and causing a lot of gunk to build up there.

I've also attached the pic incase the pic doesn't work.

'09 VE SS UTE
I found one in my SS ute. I thought a previous owner stuck in in there. I took it out and i didnt notice any change in wind noise or anything.

I have noticed i need to take out the inner front guards and clip the foam seals that sit between the body and guards back in...

That part is for sound deadening although the foam should be fully sealed by bag. The way is looks all scrunched up I would almost guarantee some hack has taken the guard off and not fitted it properly when re-installing. If you have a look on the other side with door fully open and look between hinge pillar and guard you will probably see it.. although minor yes they do make a different, they are a bit tricky to fit if you haven't done one before.
