Replaced the water pump on my brothers VT V6 earlier this evening & noticed i had to
remove the small idler pulley on the passenger side to get the last long bolt out holding the water pump in place.
Anyway i gave the pulley bolt a turn anti clockwise & it started turning but after a little more pressure the bolt head sheared off leaving it flush against the hole.Thinking it may be a reverse thread:hmmm:
Can the unit that the idler pulley bolts to be removed so i can extract the stud or is it a replaceable part?
