i had my vk painted and the painter didnt put these back on so wondering exactly were they go and if any one has a picture even better cheers have posted a picture. think they go on doors for anti theift but not 100 percent cheers
they go pilairs between the doors open and close, you dont really need them. just as you close the door sound abit quiet thats all. I've them on my commodore to. I'll try up load a picture for you. I hope this helps
Dont think so, my VK berlina has them where pictured too, they go above the door latch somewhere round there, their purpose defeats me as i dont see how they can lower road noise or anything, dont worry about them, the VK sl doesnt have them.
You are right SL/ENUT, it was Holden's lame solution to stop theives sliding plastic straps through the door frames to get at the door lock button. I think they introduced them in the early VK (1984) series. On the later VK series (1985) the changed to the sliding locks and therefore removed these rubber blocks from the "B" pillar.
