My Redline has 100cpi cats along with 4 into 1 headers and a 3 inch exhaust. The exhaust is VERY fumey, to the point of not being able to stand near the thing without the fear of choking to death. Its even worse than a mate's GTS who had no cats at all. i can handle the fumes when driving it, though the last thing i want is to get pulled over or stopped at an RBT, and next thing having EPA issues.

I'm not sure if it's just a tuning issue (running too rich) or if i need to move to 200cpi cats ?

Does anyone else with a similar exhaust setup have the same issue ?

Even when it's fully warmed up? It's normal when the cats are cold. It's very obvious when a car has high flow cats or no cats though. Swapping to 200cpsi cats will be cheaper than copping a fine from the epa or a defect

Yeah, even when warm. Hard to tell though if it's the cats or if it's just running too rich.

Yep. has cam and is also supercharged. Doesn't seem to have the best of tunes though.

I think you have answered your own question. Take it back to your tuner, or if you are not happy with him, take it to someone else.

yep get tune looked at there are a few key things to do when a cam is fitted that not alot of tuners do, the factory fueling is not setup for a cam with overlap and needs to be changed to suit

Get it upgraded and tuned for e85. You'll run a lot more power and not have to worry about passing emissions test.

This guy had similar setup and the workshop went from 570 hp to 660hp atw just on e85 over 98.

Thanks guys... main reason for not going E85 is because it's not really available everywhere, and this thing is a daily driver. As for more power, i certainly don't need any more....lol

The car is due for it's 3000 km service soon, I'll give the yard and tuner the benefit of fixing it.

who did you get it tuned by? was it a Walkinshaw tune through the dealer?
