Hi, I am Jessika from Southern California. I am very active on the G8 boards and found this one soooo interesting.
I have a Pontiac G8 GT, a few mods -- CAI, catback exhaust with magnaflows -- cosmetic mods -- GXP rear diffuser, Pink arrowhead on the front, debadged on the rear, Pink calipers and silver center caps on my 19's.

I am totally obsessed with my car. It was pure love at first test drive.

Where do the CAI's sit on the Pontiacs? Ours have the air box or an over the radiator air snorkel i'm pretty sure. Very nice car though!

I have the old style New Era intake. It is sorta like the Yella Terra tube, but includes a K&N style filter that drops behind the left headlamp.

I wish I could afford an OTR intake... the bitchen one I have seen on the real Commodores with the dual filters.

Ohhh ok cool!! Yeah they have them on Egay here, i think they call them "howlers" or something because they have two pod filters housed in the intake snorkel, but they are about $600aus.

yea, those look awesome. But for now, I am sticking with my low budget intake. It does the job.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I work for General Motors, in a dealership as a service writer.

What an awesome car, I think I like the Pontiacs better than the Aussie versions! And the plates are just magic, I love it.

Since you work for GM in the US you can probably answer me on this. Did the ute version of the G8 ever go on sale, or did Pontiac go bust before they could start?
