You're right wraith, they do produce less light output than OEM. But at least it's not a yellow light.

Xstreme Vision. Yellow light with longer beam.
Crystal Vision. 4300K white light. I have these currently H4 and H3 globes. Great visibility.
Crystal Vision Ultra. 4500K white/blue light.
Diamond Vision. 5000K blue/white light.

Have a look at the Philips automotive globe website.

Prices vary between shops. I'd try eBay first. always_tomorrow is an Australia globe power seller.
You can get a pair of H4 Diamonds for $54, free postage.

I mainly wanted HID's because they are allot brighter and I just want a white light because I have blue parkers behind them and that will add a slight blue. Thanks for the help

Ill be happy with any kind of white light that will increase visibility abit, just hate the yellow so much

Your decision, obviously. But search around for information and prices.

But for what you WANT, you can't go wrong will either Crystal or Diamond Vision. You can do both main and highbeam globes then (H4 and H3). Xtreme Visions are only compatiable for the main globe in the VR/VS series.

The Xtreme globes are nice and white. HID's are obivously superior but the hassle of having to adjust them low enough you don't blind people etc. is a pita. Have them on the clubby and will be putting them on the MX6. Have put many Xtreme visions on customers cars never had a complaint.

I have 50w 5000k HID's for my low/high in my vs ute, an 100w 5000k HID's for my highbeam.
It's an incredible increase in light, the white light is better than the blue in my opinion.
The only bummer is that the ballasts are bulky and inconvenient to place neatly, but it's easy to install. Plug and play

My new car has factory HID's (projector lens, self cleaning, self leveling blah blah) and I don't find them any better than my old VS with a good set of H4 globes.
