hid kit in ve ss commodore non projector

Has anyone fitted a Jaycar HID h4 kit for thier main beams they are $99 and need not much cutting of wires any info or pics would be great

I don't think H4 is the right kit for the VE.

Correct, you need H7's for ve's.

If you do end up installing HID's.
Remember to fit the reflector shroud.
Lots of guy's running around without
the shrouds which only blind people!

Oh, and choose a reasonable colour temp.
Below 6000K.

It is actually illegal to run HID's in NON projector headlights, Unless it is High beam and/or Foglights.

Whatever you finally decide to do, make sure that it complies with A.D.R.'s

For info, any (ANY) modification(s), unless approved to ADR standards, that change/alter/modify any aspect of your vehicle from the ADR standards/requirements that existed at the time of manufacture of your vehicle are ILLEGAL.

Headlights on all vehicles MUST comply with ADR's.
