You need to look at the large code tag lettering on the Differential Identification tag (the one that shows the part number, ratio and bar code). ED and EE are V6 LSDs, EB and EH are LSD - V8, V6 supercharged and wagon with manual transmission. All the rest (EF, EC, EA, EJ) are non-LSD.

thought it was pretty self explanetary to be honest but yeah why not.
ls reffers to spinning woth wheels lsd like!

And when there isnt much load or prussure it will tend to spin woth wheel for maximum traction

That is a problem and one of the reasons I started this thread- no Differential Identification Tag on the side of the housing.

In short no its not an LSD its just a High Performance its better then an original but still no LSD sorry.

you said in the start it had High Performance tag...

Have a look at the tag hanging off the filler if its there and see pic. LSD says LSD.

Or you can test for the single spinner snap back when you're sideways :p

My apologies i read the post wrong just realised.
There are three different diff types
Single spinner
High Performance
Lsd.

when i read lsd high-performance i dont know what i was thinking but thought you meant you had the high performance type my apologies

like they said if it says LSD its an LSD
