I sold the car for around six grand. Probably too cheap, but I got what I was looking for, I wanted the car gone ASAP, and it enabled me to get another bike without actually costing me any money.
From a financial perspective, its actually cheaper for me to rego and insure two bikes then it was for the SS. As I am saving for another bike - and possibly a house - next year, every little bit helps.
I was actually quite bored with the car, it needed some work and I really wasn't prepared to spend the money.
I do regret selling it a little, as there is nothing quite like the sound of a V8, but I reckon a four cylinder "screamer" engine at about 14 500 sounds just as good...
