Not forgotten, just poorly expressed as bid price+And don't forget about the buyer's premium which, based on the rate of 7% and the current bid of $63,009, is the better part of $4.5k.
Many a business, even manufacturers, directly off load old stock via auction. Why wouldn't it have oem warranty balance?
Stuff sold at auction is not required by law to be sold with any statutory warranty. This does not mean the product can’t carry a manufacturer’s warranty but since there is the “added services” tab within the auction page, which describes the 12 month warranty one can purchase for ~$700, I’d say the manufacturer simply doesn’t want to provide warranty on this car (otherwise they would state balance of 3, 5 or 7 years warranty as it’s a positive selling feature).
The grays auction page also does not specify who the seller is, whether a manufacturer, dealer or some third party, not that it’s really relevant in any case.
So if you are thinking of bidding, talk to greys as they are selling it or talk to Holden as the VIN is provided and clarify the situation, don’t simply assume you have manufacturer’s warranty because of the newness of the car.
